KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team and head coach Ryan Tomlinson have announced the team captains for the 2020-21 season, with juniors Taylor Smith and Elizabeth Trupp sharing the duties.
Smith went 4-0 in doubles action last season, while going 3-4 in singles before the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Trupp went 8-4 in singles action and 3-5 in doubles, all during fall competition.
"I am excited to announce Taylor and Elizabeth have been chosen by their team as captains for the 2020-21 season," said Tomlinson.
