KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team improved to 5-1 in Mid-American Conference play after a 6-1 win over Northern Illinois at West Hills Athletic Club on Sunday.
The Broncos (13-1, 5-1 MAC) have now won two straight after suffering their first loss of the season last weekend. WMU won at Buffalo on Friday, 4-3.
"We made some adjustments in doubles this weekend and I think those really helped us get two tough wins this weekend," said head coach . "I'm proud of this group and how they keep showing up day in and day out, both mentally and physically.
