KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Western Michigan women's tennis team earned a non-conference road victory against Butler in dominating fashion, defeating the Bulldogs by a final score of 7-0 on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Broncos improve to 2-2 overall on the year.
The sophomore team of Kristina Tiraspolsky and Femke Tjon-A-Joe recorded their first victory of the dual season, downing Lauryn Padgett and Sarah Monesmith at #1 doubles. The Broncos took both doubles matches that finished to jump out to an early 1-0 advantage, as junior's Valerie Riegraf and Jeryn Jack beat Logan White and Sara Linn 6-1.
