Western Michigan remained undefeated in Mid-American Conference play by defeating Akron 2-0 on Thursday night at FirstEnergy Stadium. The Broncos received goals from Emily Pagett and Abby Werthman. Werthman has four goals and four assists this season, while Pagett has added three goals and three assists.

Abby Werthman transferred to Western Michigan prior to the 2023 season, and it has paid off in a big way for both parties.
