Women's Soccer Remains Undefeated in MAC Play

Western Michigan Women’s Soccer earned a win against Ball State on Sunday. The team’s record is now 9-2-1 overall and 5-0-1 in the MAC.

The first goal of the game was scored at the end of the first half by WMU senior Ava Beckett with an assist by midfielder Drew Martin. Despite the lead, the Broncos were outshot by the Cardinals 7-4.

Late in the second half, the Broncos increased their lead with a goal from forward Olivia Brunink and sophomore Kailah Newcomb earning the assist. WMU outshot Ball State in the closing half 7-4.

In goal once again for the Broncos, freshman Reagan Sulaver played all 90 minutes and recorded 1 save in the match.
