Women's Soccer Hosts Akron on Sunday at 1 p.m. in MAC Quarterfinals

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's soccer team will host Akron on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the WMU Soccer Complex in the Mid-American Conference Tournament Quarterfinals.

The Broncos (13-6, 7-4-0 MAC) secured home field advantage after wrapping up the regular season with a 4-0 win over Northern Illinois and finishing in third place in the conference standings.

The game will be streamed live for free at wmubroncos.com.

THE MATCHUP
WMU and UA met back on Sept. 21 in Kalamazoo and the Broncos earned a 1-0 win in overtime. Freshman midfielder Victoria Kryiakopolous finished off a corner kick by Grace Labadie just 1:35 into the overtime period.
