Straight out of the gate, both teams were ready to go at it. The intensity was high, as this was a pivotal conference game. These ladies were trying to generate attacks, but both teams were playing stout defense. In the 21st minute of the game, the Broncos finally got on the board as midfielder Grace Labadie, a sophomore from Kalamazoo, Michigan delivered a strong header into the net. This was Labadie’s fourth goal of the season, as she has been a key scorer this season. Senior midfielder Tiffany Buckler, from Rochester, Michigan assisted Labadie on her goal, who set it up perfectly.
