TOLEDO, Ohio – The Western Michigan women's soccer team dropped its second-straight Mid-American Conference contest, falling 2-0 at Toledo on Sunday afternoon.
The Broncos (2-7-0, 0-2-0 MAC) were outshot 18-9 overall and 9-4 in shots on goal. Senior forward Bailey Korhorn had a team-high three shots, landing two on goal, while Morgan Otteson and Jenna Blackburn each had two shots and one on goal. Senior goalkeeper Maggie Rogers made seven saves on the day.
The game was tied until late in the first half when Grace Turksi scored in the 38th minute to put the Rockets up 1-0.
