FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Western Michigan women's soccer team fell on the road at Arkansas, 3-0, on Thursday night.
The Broncos (0-3-1) went down early, with the Razorbacks scoring just 39 seconds into the game. It was WMU that had the opening chance, with Jenna Blackburn dribbling into the box right at the start, but she was dispossessed and Sainsley Erzen scored seconds later down the field to give Arkansas a 1-0 lead.
The Razorbacks pushed the lead to 2-0 in the 15th minute on a goal by Jessica De Filippo after she finished off a long pass inside the box.
