Western Michigan University Women’s Soccer battled to a hard-fought draw with Bowling Green State University on Saturday. This tie brings the team to 5-2-1 overall this season and 1-0-1 in MAC play.
The Broncos opened scoring in the opening minutes of the first half with a goal from graduate student Avery Peters and midfielder Drew Martin earning the assist. Following that the Falcons junior Lexi White ties up the game. WMU outshot BGSU 6-3 in the opening half.
The second half remaining scoreless, but the Broncos once again outshot the Falcons 4-2.
Freshman goalkeeper Reagan Sulaver tallied three saves for the Broncos and has started all eight matches for WMU this season.
