YPSILANTI, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's basketball team travels to Ypsilanti, Michigan to face cross-state rival Eastern Michigan on Wednesday, January 31, at 7:00 PM. WMU enters the contest against the Green and White as winners of three of their last four contests. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
EMU carries a 5-13 record into Wednesday's tilt, with wins over SIUE, IUPUI, Saginaw Valley, Northern Illinois, and Miami (OH.). The Eagles lost to Ball State 75-50 in their previous game at the George Gervin GameAbove Center in Ypsilanti. In the loss, junior forward Treasure Thompson led the Eagles with a season-high 14 points after shooting 7-12 from the field.
