KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women’s basketball team stayed perfect at home this season with a 73-52 win over Mid-American Conference (MAC) East opponent Kent State Wednesday night at University Arena. The Broncos improved to 10-6 overall and 2-2 in the MAC while the Golden Flashes dropped to 3-11 overall and 0-4 in the MAC. WMU moved to 6-0 at home this season and 18-2 the last two seasons combined under head coach Shane Clipfell. It was the third consecutive game the defense held its opponent to 25 points or below in the first half.
