KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women’s basketball team will be hosting its annual Play 4Kay game at home against Akron this Saturday, Feb. 13 at 2 p.m. If 2000 fans are in attendance, WMU head coach Shane Clipfell has vowed to turn his hair pink in honor of breast cancer awareness.
“Breast cancer is a horrible disease and I’m sure most everyone has been affected by it in some way throughout their lives,” Clipfell said. “This is our team and our institutions way of saying we care about the cause and we will do whatever we can to bring awareness to it.
