The Broncos held an early 7-2 lead over Central Michigan mid-first quarter. Sophomore forward Breanna Mobley lead the team with 27 points going 78.6% from the field tying her career high. Junior guard Latondra Brooks and senior guard Meredith Shipman followed with 14 points each. With a little less than four minutes left in the first, Central was able take the lead 12-10 staying in control for the rest of the game. By the end of the first quarter WMU trailed 26-18.
The Chippewa’s kept a lead from anywhere to four to 13 points for the last three quarters of the game.
