Bayeux, France- The Western Michigan women's basketball team had a successful first exhibition game in France on August 20, defeating the Douvres Le Delivrande women's 16-34 professional team 72-64 in Normandy.

The Broncos welcomed back several players who were redshirted in the 2018-19 season due to medical reasons. Jordan Walker and Breanna Mobley both made triumphant returns to the squad, Walker making several baskets from the three-point line and Mobley notching eight points and leading the team with eight rebounds.

"I was anxious to see what we would look like with all we've done so far and how long it's been since we bounced the ball," Head Coach Shane Clipfell said.
