KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan junior right-handed pitcher Easton Sikorski has been selected in the 17th round, 513th overall, by the Cincinnati Reds in the 2022 Major League Baseball Draft.
Sikorski becomes the 10th Bronco to be selected in the MLB Draft during the tenure of head coach Billy Gernon, and the 114th all-time selection from WMU. It marks the second consecutive year in which a Bronco has been drafted, as outfielder Blake Dunn was also taken by Cincinnati in the 15th round of the 2021 MLB Draft.
