KALAMAZOO, MI - Western Michigan running back Jarvion Franklin and tight end Donnie Ernsberger might not have heard their names announced on draft day, but it was only a matter of time before NFL teams came calling.
The Broncos seniors both signed undrafted free agent contracts following the conclusion of the 2018 NFL Draft Saturday, with Franklin joining the Pittsburgh Steelers and Ernsberger catching on with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Franklin's move to Pittsburgh reunites him with WMU teammate Chukwuma Okorafor, whom the Steelers selected in the third round (92nd overall) on Friday.
