Franklin is now WMU’s all-time leading rusher, the previous record being held by Robert Sanford with a career total of 4,219 yards. Franklin currently sits at 4,281 yards, and he still has four regular season games left to play. He has 642 rush yards on the season, along with seven rushing touchdowns. Throughout his career at WMU, the senior has proven to be a consistent running back that the offense can rely on. Without a doubt, Franklin is the workhorse in the Broncos backfield.
While at WMU, Franklin has put up some unbelievable stats. Last year, he set the record for the most rush yards in a single game.
