KALAMAZOO, MI - Western Michigan football coach Tim Lester needed only one word to describe Darius Phillips' fifth career interception return touchdown in the second quarter of the Broncos' 48-20 win over Kent State Wednesday at Waldo Stadium.
"Unbelievable," the first-year coach said after the game.

Phillips' 43-yard pick-six gave WMU a 31-14 lead over the Golden Flashes with 1:37 left in the second quarter, and it tied him atop the Football Bowl Subdivision career leaderboard for interception return touchdowns with four other players, most recently Darrent Williams, who played at Oklahoma State from 2001-04 before being drafted in the second round by the Denver Broncos.
