WMU WR Drake Harris sees first extended playing time at Michigan Stadium

ANN ARBOR, MI - From 2014 to 2018, Drake Harris wore the winged helmet as a member of the Michigan football team, but injuries prevented him from making the impact many expected as a four-star wide receiver prospect.

The Grand Rapids native finally earned his first extended playing time at Michigan Stadium, only this time it came from the visiting sideline.

After joining Western Michigan as an offseason graduate transfer, Harris logged a team-best three catches Saturday in the Broncos' 49-3 loss to Michigan.

The three grabs were a single-game career high, and his 16 receiving yards were his second-highest output, eclipsed by a two-catch, 25-yard performance as a redshirt freshman with the Wolverines.
