WMU women's soccer loses final non-conference match 5-0 at Butler

Western Michigan women’s soccer’s losing streak is at three after being defeated by a wide margin against Butler Thursday night, 5-0.

The Bulldogs dominated the game in almost every statistic, leading in shots (24-5) and shots on goal (10-1). It was a tough game for Bronco goaltender Maggie Rogers, who gave up all five goals in 73 minutes of play before being replaced by Lauren Boafo.

The first three Butler goals came in a frenzy, all within a six-minute span. The first, in the 16th minute, was scored by Katie Soderstrom in the left corner of the goal.
