WMU Women's Soccer lands two on NSCAA Scholar All-Region team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Western Michigan women's soccer team was the only one in the Mid-American Conference to land two student-athletes on the National Soccer Coaches Association Scholar All-North/Central Region Team. Senior midfielder Liz Abro earned first team honors, while junior forward Emma Kahn landed on the third team.

Abro, who also earned Academic All-Mid-American Conference, Third Team All-Great Lakes Region, and Second Team All-MAC, boasts a 3.40 GPA in secondary education. The Troy, Mich., native was the team's leading scorer with 15 points on a team-best five goals and five assists.
