SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Western Michigan distance medley relay team took second place at the Meyo Invitational to highlight the track & field team's performance on Friday evening.
Junior Juliane Sormain ran the opening leg before freshman Taneidra Cain ran the 400-meter dash portion. Freshman Chloe McEachern took over for the 800-meter run leg before handing it off to senior Sarah Anderson for the final mile. The Broncos were in fourth place when Anderson took over but she took control and ran a split of 4:52 to move up to second place.
