CLEVELAND – The Mid-American Conference announced on Monday that the Western Michigan volleyball team swept the MAC West weekly awards.
Senior outside hitter Rachel Bontrager earned MAC West Offensive Player of the Week while fellow senior Kaley Smith was named MAC West Defensive Player of the Week.
Freshman Logan Case for the third time this season was named MAC West Setter of the Week. The trio helped guide WMU to a perfect 3-0 record last week against Buffalo and Ball State.
Bontrager led the Broncos with 58 kills, averaging a staggering 5.
