LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Western Michigan softball team set a new program record, with 14 student-athletes recognized for their academic excellence by earning 2021-22 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors.
To qualify for this distinction, student-athletes must have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher throughout the 2021-22 academic year.
Western Michigan's 14 honorees include:
Rissa Bajusz: 3.98 GPA, Pre-Early Childhood Professional Education
Darcy Barkausas: 3.67 GPA, Exercise Science
Mikayla Barnard: 3.50 GPA, Physical & Health Education Teacher: K-12
