KALAMAZOO, MI - The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame announced Wednesday the inclusion of Western Michigan senior John Keenoy among its 180 semifinalists for the 2018 William V. Campbell Trophy, also known as the "Academic Heisman."
A four-year starter at center, Keenoy has excelled on the field, earning a spot on the Rimington Award Spring Watch List, which recognized 57 of the country's top centers, and helping the Broncos rank among the NCAA's top 25 rushing offenses in 2016 and 2017.
The Kentwood native has also excelled in the classroom, graduating with a bachelor's degree in finance after only three years, which has allowed him to pursue a master's in business administration.
