WMU men’s basketball was projected to finish last in the Mid-American Conference by the 2020-21 MAC men’s basketball preseason coaches poll.
The MAC coaches do not think that the Broncos can improve from last season’s struggles. WMU finished last in the MAC West last season with a 13-19 record and a 6-12 record in the conference.
A key returning player for the Broncos is redshirt junior Kawanise Wilkins, who played in all 32 games in the 2018-19 season and was third on the team in rebounds with 150 before redshirting last season due to injury. Another key player for the Broncos is sophomore guard B.
