Western Michigan men’s basketball defeated the Buffalo Bulls on the road 97-64. This was WMU’s first 25+ point victory over a MAC opponent this season.
The Broncos shot 50% from the field, 50% from three-point range and 100% from free-throw range in the first half.
The second half saw the Broncos build off the momentum they generated in the first half. WMU shot 56% from the field and 50% from three-point range.
WMU outperformed Buffalo in four different categories. It scored 50 points to Buffalo’s 34 points in the paint, 30 points to Buffalo’s nine points off turnovers, 21 points to Buffalo’s nine points off turnovers, and 14 points to Buffalo’s nine second chance points.
