WMU Holds Final Practice Before Break

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The 2019 practice schedule began to draw to a close Monday for Western Michigan, which will play in a bowl game for the sixth time in nine seasons, a first in program history. The Broncos held practice Monday before departing for a week.

Western Michigan will have four more workouts on campus next week before heading to Dallas on Saturday, December 26 for the SERVPRO First Responder Bowl.

Bronco Productions caught up with head coach Tim Lester, senior defensive end Antonio Balabani and senior quarterback Jon Wassink to discuss bowl practices, the excitement of the upcoming trip and the matchup with Western Kentucky.
