COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Western Michigan hockey freshman forward Wade Allison has been named the Bauer Hockey National Collegiate Hockey Conference Rookie of the Week after his performance in WMU's win and tie over No. 20 Bowling Green.

This is the second Rookie of the Week award for the Broncos this season, after goalie Ben Blacker earned the honors last week after his performance in the sweep of No. 20 Ferris State. Allison netted two goals in Friday's 4-4 tie at Bowling Green, including the game-tying goal midway through the third period.
