WMU Hockey's Allison and Blacker earn NCHC honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Western Michigan hockey's Wade Allison and Ben Blacker have both been named National Collegiate Hockey Conference Players of the Week as announced on Monday by the NCHC office. Allison earned Bauer Offensive Player of the Week, while Blacker was named Bauer Goalie of the Week.

WMU

Allison had four points on the weekend in WMU's series split at No. 8/9 North Dakota. The Myrtle, Manitoba native tallied an assist in Friday's loss and then netted two goals, including the game-winner, and an assist for his first career three-point game in Saturday's 3-1 win.
