WMU Hockey turns in 3.37 GPA for Fall Semester

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Western Michigan hockey team recorded a 3.37 GPA during the fall semester, including having eight student-athletes with at least a 3.50 or higher.

Senior captain Sheldon Dries is one of eight players to record at least a 3.50 or higher.

Kale Bennet, Ben Blacker, Sheldon Dries, Aaron Hadley, Scott Moldenhauer, Griffen Molino, Colin Olson and Richard Zehnal all boasted at least a 3.50 for the semester. Dries, Hadley, Moldenhauer, Molino and Olson were all National Collegiate Hockey Conference Scholar Athlete Team selections last season.

The Broncos currently sit in third place in the NCHC and head to Detroit, Mich.
