KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Western Michigan hockey team ends the 2016-17 season ranked in the nation's top 10 after earning the 10 spot in the US College Hockey Online final poll of the season.

WMU finished the season 22-13-5, earning a berth in the NCAA Tournament for the sixth time in program history. The Broncos received 528 points in the poll, just 34 shy of North Dakota in ninth. Western Michigan also finished 12th in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll.
The Broncos spent 10 total weeks in the top 10 and 20 weeks ranked overall.
