WMU Hockey Jumps to No. 9 in USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Poll

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - After sweeping Omaha, the Western Michigan hockey team has jumped into the top 10 of the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll, coming in at ninth this week.

Junior forward Colt Conrad leads the Broncos in scoring with 18 points in 13 games this season.

WMU is also ranked 11th in the US College Hockey Online poll, moving up from 15 in last week's voting. The Broncos have catapulted themselves up the national rankings in the past few weeks after sweeping No. 1 Denver, splitting with No. 12 Minnesota-Duluth on the road and the two wins over the Mavericks.
