KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Western Michigan hockey program and head coach Andy Murray have announced the hiring of J.J. Crew to the position of Director of Player Development.
Crew, a WMU alum, has picked up a variety of coaching experience on his way back to Lawson Ice Arena. After helping the Broncos win the Central Collegiate Hockey Association Tournament Championship in 2012 he graduated with a degree in criminal justice. He then went on to coach in the USPHL Elite league with the Hampton Road Warriors as an assistant coach.
