KALAMAZOO, MI – A new coaching staff, new quarterback and new set of receivers mean big changes in the make-up of the Western Michigan football team.

It was unlikely the Broncos would repeat their undefeated regular season even with former coach P.J. Fleck at the helm, and now with Tim Lester in charge, the question becomes: How well can the Broncos carry over 2016’s momentum into the upcoming campaign?

With a stable of top-flight running backs and veteran defense, there is plenty of hope in Kalamazoo, but there are also uncertainties scattered throughout the depth chart that will challenge the team’s attempt at consecutive Mid-American Conference titles.
