Western Michigan head coach Tim Lester and his staff have been very active on the recruiting trail this offseason.
The Broncos have 17 commitments for their 2020 class thus far. That’s good for the No. 1 class in the Mid-American Conference, and the 57th best class in the nation according to 247Sports.

WMU is also out-recruiting some notable Power Five schools, including: Nebraska (59), Virginia (62), Indiana (64), USC (66), Syracuse (69), and UCLA (78).
