KALAMAZOO, MI – After rumbling for 1,353 yards and 12 touchdowns last season, Western Michigan running back Jarvion Franklin only improved his ability to carry the Broncos’ offense in 2017 by working on his speed and power over the summer.
The senior worked his way up to 235 pounds and ran the 40-yard dash in a laser-timed 4.48 seconds.
That’s NFL-caliber speed, but if you thought Franklin was alone atop the backfield pecking order, as Lee Corso would say, “Not so fast, my friend.”
WMU released its first depth chart heading into the Saturday, Sept.
