SOUTH BEND, Ind. – In Tuesday midweek action, Western Michigan baseball rattled off double digit hits for the second straight game as the Broncos fell to Notre Dame, 14-4 inside Frank Eck Stadium.
The Brown & Gold scored four runs on 11 hits against the Fighting Irish, marking the 13th time this season WMU has recorded double digit hits. Five of the 11 hits for the Broncos went for extra-bases while 10 different Broncos recorded a hit on Tuesday night.
Freshman Blake Dunn continued his stellar play at the plate going 2-for-4 to earn his seventh multi-hit game of the season.
