WMU Falls in Hard Fought Battle at Toledo, 61-54

TOLEDO, Ohio – Despite having three players in double figures and holding on to a one-point lead with over three minutes remaining the Western Michigan women's basketball team was unable to defeat Toledo on Wednesday night, falling to the Rockets inside Savage Arena 61-54.

For the fourth time this season WMU had a trio of players score in double figures, led by redshirt senior Reilly Jacobson with 15 points. Jacobson was 7-of-14 from the field against Toledo and ranked second on the team with seven rebounds. The redshirt senior forward was also 1-of-3 from behind the three-point line and had one assist, one steal and two blocks.
