Western Michigan needed a bounce back game after their last-minute heartbreaking loss at Eastern Michigan last Saturday.
And on senior day at Waldo Stadium, the Broncos were able to get that with a 49-10 win over Bowling Green on Saturday afternoon to move to 5-0 at home this season.
Early on it was a somewhat slow start for the Broncos. Each team had to punt the ball away on their opening possessions in the first quarter. Then, the Falcons proceeded to march the ball to the WMU 13-yard line in what was a 15 play, 68-yard drive that ended in a Nate Needham 30-yard field goal to put Bowling Green on the board first.
