KALAMAZOO, MI - Western Michigan's Conner Henderson doesn't wear a cape or change clothes in a phone booth, but the Broncos' centerfielder flashed superhuman athleticism in Sunday's baseball game against Ohio.
With his team trailing 4-2 in the second inning, the junior got on his proverbial horse to track a long fly ball off the bat of Ohio freshman Aaron Levy.
A couple seconds of hang time and a fully extended glove hand allowed Henderson to snag the ball before his 6-foot, 200-pound frame hit the warning track and rolled through a cloud of dust.
