WMU basketball finishes 1-2 in Puerto Rico Tip-Off

WMU lost to The University of Tulsa 74-81 Thursday night in a game in which the final score was not as close as it showed. The Broncos never led in the contest and were down 27-9 with just under seven minutes left in the first.

Despite another game in which multiple Broncos had over 10 points, including a career-high from junior forward Josh Davis, notching 14 points, followed by junior guard Bryce Moore with 13, UT had their way shooting just over 50 percent in the first half. The impression shooting performance outlasted the Broncos who outrebounded the Golden Hurricanes 42-41 in total and dominated the offensive glass at a tally of 21-8.
