KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan University and head baseball coach Billy Gernon have announced a pair of changes to the coaching staff for the upcoming 2025-26 season. Assistant coach Josh Rebandt has been promoted to add recruiting coordinator to his title, and the Broncos have hired Glenn Miller to serve as an assistant coach for the program.
In Rebandt's first season with the Brown and Gold, Western Michigan earned four victories over Power Conference foes, taking down Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern and Notre Dame. The Bronco offense put a renewed emphasis on the running game, swiping nearly 20 more bases than in 2024 and boasting two of the league's top-8 individuals in steals.
