Western Michigan baseball squared off in a three-game weekend series with MAC rival Miami Redhawks. The Broncos lost the series two games to one, but still hold the 6-seed and final seed in the Mid-American Conference Tournament.
Game 1
Chris Modrzynski (4-3) started on the mound for the Broncos in game one, while the freshman phenom Sam Bachman who has a 7-0 record with a 3.55 ERA started for the Redhawks.
The Redhawks started out the first game in full domination as they scored in the first inning of action making the score one to nothing Redhawks.
