YPSILANTI, Mich. – Western Michigan track and field's Erin Dowd and Erica Sheahan both picked up event titles as the Broncos wrapped up competition at the Can Am International at Eastern Michigan University's Bowen Fieldhouse on Saturday.
Dowd continued her strong start to her senior season. Last weekend she won the 400-meter dash at the Youngstown State Invitational. She continued her winning ways at EMU, this time in the 600-meter run. The Brighton, Mich., native ran a time of 1:32.66 seconds to pick up her second win of the season. Sophomore Kiley Ward also competed in the event, placing sixth overall after a time of 1:39.
