CLEVELAND – Western Michigan men's basketball senior guard Thomas Wilder has been named Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week.
In two contests at Saint Louis and against Oakland, Wilder averaged 20 points while averaging 3.5 assists and 3.5 steals. Wilder shot a combined 44.8 percent (13-of-29) from the field and connected on five three-pointers during the week. Wilder was the leading scorer for the Broncos in each game and has done so in every game this season.
The Montgomery, Ill., native had a game-high 16 points, with 10 coming in the second half at Saint Louis on Nov.
