Wilder, Broncos win overtime thriller against rival Chippewas

In his final home game against Central Michigan senior guard Thomas Wilder took over late in the second half and in the overtime period. Wilder had just 11 points at the end of regulation but finished with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists. Just one assist shy of a triple-double.

“I knew it was winning time,” Wilder said. “I was kind of passive throughout the whole game and in overtime I knew to give us the best chance to win I had to be more aggressive so that what I had to do,” Wilder said.

“At the end of the game you need your stars to step up…he found a way to make plays,” Head coach Steve Hawkins said regarding Wilder.
