Football is the first thing that comes to Turner’s mind, even though she hasn’t even been to a game yet.
“I haven’t had the opportunity to go to a game yet, but I’d really like to,” Turner said.
WMU’s football team has been taking massive strides in the right direction over the last four years, making their biggest splash this year. Even freshmen that have just become Broncos are fans of the program, which not so long ago, was 1-11 and the Row the Boat chant hadn’t quite made it to Western’s harbor yet.
