But ever since Mid-March, when the threat of the coronavirus pandemic became a reality here in the United States--those involved in sports have had to come to grips with living without them for a time.
At the Western Herald, our section had a historic year of coverage for the 2019-20 academic year. Every single reporter played an integral part in the success we had as a section.
The opportunity to finish out the school year with an exclamation point with the coverage of spring sports was unfortunately taken away for athletes, coaches, sportswriters and everyone involved in sports.
